Job summary

Sellick Partnership seeks an experienced Senior Pricing Analyst to join the Pricing and Proposition team within the Telematics Pricing function. Based mainly at home with Manchester/West Sussex options, the role focuses on predictive modelling, risk segmentation and strategic pricing support across high-volume telematics data.

The successful candidate will combine advanced analytics with pricing governance, using Python/SQL to influence business decisions and develop the telematics proposition

Qualifications

• Experience in a pricing role within motor insurance, ideally with telematics exposure.
• Minimum 2:1 degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related quantitative discipline.
• Strong experience using Python and SQL with high-volume datasets in cloud-based analytics environments.
• Experience developing statistical/predictive models using GBMs/GLMs or similar techniques.
• Experience building and deploying predictive models using Python.
• RADAR experience is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of insurance pricing, products and data science.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance predictive pricing models to improve performance and commercial value.
• Work with high-volume telematics and sensor-based data to generate pricing insights.
• Develop analytical frameworks, reporting and monitoring solutions for pricing strategy.
• Assess new data sources to improve risk segmentation and pricing sophistication.
• Promote best practices in coding, automation, governance and pricing methodology.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support pricing and model governance.
• Act as a subject matter expert, sharing technical and pricing knowledge.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
