Job summary

1st Central is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join the Pricing and Proposition team, flexible between Haywards Heath or Salford Quays. You will work in Telemetics Pricing, using behavioural data, analytics, and predictive modeling to shape pricing strategy and drive commercial performance.

This role offers predominantly home-based work with one day per month in the office, and flexibility to spend more time with the team in either Manchester or West Sussex.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience in a pricing role within motor insurance, with exposure to telematics.
• Hands-on Python and SQL in cloud-based analytics environments.
• Experience developing and deploying predictive models using Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain pricing models and analytics to shape pricing strategy and commercial performance.
• Identify and implement analytical techniques and data sources for pricing improvement.
• Develop reporting and monitoring frameworks delivering actionable insights for management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance risk segmentation and pricing governance.
