Job Description:

Selby Jennings has partnered with a unique and forward-thinking syndicate, actively seeking to grow their Pricing team in London.

They are looking for a Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuary to focus on case pricing duties across an array of lines of business within Specialty Casualty classes. The role involves collaboration with underwriting and claims teams to support account and case pricing strategies, develop technical pricing models, handle internal and regulatory reporting, create MI and dashboards, and manage client relationships and stakeholder engagement.

Role Requirements:

• Nearly Qualified Actuary or Qualified Actuary up to 3 years PQE.
• 3 to 7 years of experience, ideally in the London Market, but open to other Commercial, Specialty, or Reinsurance backgrounds.
• Prior case pricing experience is required, preferably with long-tailed lines and products.
• Proficiency with actuarial software and tools, such as Python, R, VBA, etc.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for client-facing aspects of case and account-level pricing.
