Job Description:

Selby Jennings has partnered with a unique and forward-thinking syndicate, actively seeking to grow their Pricing team in London.

They are looking for a Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuary to focus on case pricing duties across an array of Lines of Business within Specialty Casualty classes. The role involves collaboration with underwriting and claims teams to support account and case pricing strategies, technical pricing model development, internal and regulatory reporting, MI and dashboard creation, as well as client management and stakeholder engagement.

Role Requirements:

• Nearly Qualified or Qualified Actuary up to 3 years PQE.
• 3 to 7 years of experience, ideally in the London Market, but open to other Commercial, Specialty, or Reinsurance backgrounds.
• Prior case pricing experience is required, preferably across long-tailed lines and products.
• Proficient with Actuarial software and tools, e.g., Python, R, VBA.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for front-facing aspects of case and account-level pricing.
