Job summary

Blue Zoo seeks a Previs Supervisor to partner with the Director, Animation Supervisor and CG Supervisor. You will visualise sequences from storyboards and animatics, and prototype assets in Scene, shaping camera blocking and timing across shots.

Apply your strong Maya skills and cinematography knowledge to influence staging, pacing and shot continuity, while collaborating across departments and adapting to creative changes throughout projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in previs pipelines and blocking.
• Strong understanding of pacing and timing in sequences.
• Good knowledge of camera work, lenses, composition, and staging.

Responsibilities

• Create sequences from storyboards and animatics in collaboration with directors.
• Plan staging in 3D layouts with blocks of characters and camera.
• Prototype assets in Scene to provide feedback to asset departments.
• Refine cameras during animation and ensure shot continuity.
• Communicate notes effectively with Director and Animation Supervisor.
