Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience leading prevention and education activities with measurable outcomes.
• Translate departmental objectives into plans, milestones and performance measures.
• Strong analytical skills for complex quantitative and qualitative data.
• Build relationships, negotiate and influence with senior leaders and partners.
• Experience managing change, quality assurance and performance against policies.
• Proficiency with ICT and risk-management software; manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior oversight of departmental activity, ensuring priorities, resources and workloads are managed effectively.
• Translate departmental objectives into clear plans, milestones and performance measures aligned with corporate priorities and risk management plans.
• Lead cross-departmental coordination and support workforce planning, role development, training needs, succession planning and resilience.
• Develop and maintain partnerships and represent the department at boards, working groups and forums.
• Provide senior advice and assurance on risk, performance, compliance, quality assurance and improvement.
• Collate and analyse complex information, monitor standards and prepare management reports.
• Manage people and performance with clear objectives, reviews and development, promoting continuous improvement.
