Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd. is seeking a Pre-construction Engineer in Wrexham, Wales, United Kingdom, to join a major civil infrastructure project.

The role focuses on analysing tender information, developing buildable solutions, and coordinating with designers, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure value and compliance. The successful candidate will have senior engineering experience in civil engineering, a valid CSCS card and a full UK driving licence, and will report to Project Managers while

Qualifications

Previous experience in a Senior Engineer role within civil engineering.
A valid CSCS card.
A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Analyse incoming tender information to establish the scope of works, technical requirements and information needed to prepare a compliant submission.
Interpret drawings, specifications and project information to develop effective construction solutions, considering buildability, programme, sequencing, resources, logistics and associated risks.
Engage with designers, suppliers and subcontractors to obtain relevant technical input, proposals and costs, assessing submissions to ensure they are suitable for the proposed works and provide value for money.
Managing site engineering teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and to programme.
Monitoring site activities to ensure compliance with health & safety requirements and company procedures, resolving any issues promptly.
Maintaining accurate records, as-built information, and quality documentation.
Producing and updating short-term and monthly programmes for your section of works.
