Leaders in Care are recruiting a Child Protection Senior Practitioner in the West Midlands on behalf of a council. The role focuses on supporting the team manager, maintaining best practice, and guiding colleagues to develop cases in a flexible, hybrid environment.

The council holds an OFSTED OUTSTANDING rating and offers a high degree of flexibility, with home working available and no rigid office presence requirements.

Formación

• Social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
• Experience in child protection is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interagency collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support the team manager to encourage best practice and develop cases.
• Assist colleagues to develop their cases and share expertise.
• Contribute to safeguarding and child protection work as part of a senior team.

Leaders in Care are working directly with a council in West Midlands to offer something special. With recent funding approved in line with the financial year, we’ve been given the green light to recruit Child Protection Senior Practitioners in a well-known Council.

The service has 4 teams in which a small number of cases are allocated to Senior Practitioners, as you will be mainly supporting your team manager with encouraging best practice and assisting colleagues to develop their cases.

Flexible working is extremely encouraged by the council, with local hubs throughout the county for peace and quiet, senior management have no expectation around having to come to the office x times a week.

OFSTED rated the council’s children services as OUTSTANDING last year. This is a service that has massively improved in the last couple of years.

Due to our direct contact with this council, we are able to support your needs being met, from working from home 4 days a week to childcare and morning school runs, we have you covered, let us find the role that suits your wants best.
