Job summary

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Hove is seeking a Senior Practitioner Psychologist to join the Crisis Resolution & Home Treatment Service at Mill View for a 12-month maternity-cover post. The role is Band 8a, part-time 22.5 hours over three days, providing specialist psychological assessments, formulations and interventions within a multidisciplinary team.

You will supervise colleagues, contribute to service development, training, and research, with strong links to training programmes

Qualifications

• Postgraduate doctoral training in applied psychology.
• HCPC registration and requirements.
• Experience delivering specialist psychological assessments.
• Experience with complex mental health presentations.
• Experience supervising colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Undertake highly specialist psychological assessments.
• Develop formulations to guide care plans.
• Deliver individual and group psychological interventions.
