An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced worker to join the highly skilled team here at Scottish Adoption and Fostering. The post holder will have responsibility for providing a service to adoptive and foster parents and children/young people to ensure that the best outcomes for children and young people are always achieved in line with statutory and regulatory requirements, alongside Agency policies and procedures.
The role involves a range of tasks designed to support the recruitment and retention of prospective foster and adoptive parents. In addition, the post holder will have responsibility for the learning and development opportunities afforded adoptive and foster parents and staff including a lead role in the delivery of Adoption Prep and Skills to Foster training.
NB we operate a hybrid approach with a mix of home and office-based working. The role will include some evening and weekend work mainly linked to the delivery of Adoption Prep and Skills to Foster training.
