Job Title: Senior Practitioner Children with Disabilities, London

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Senior Practitioner to join a Children with Disabilities Team based in Southwest London, working for an OUTSTANDING authority as rated by OFSTED.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Social Worker looking to advance into a more senior position. The responsibilities include managing a small complex caseload and supporting Newly Qualified Social Workers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing the needs of children with disabilities and their families
  • Developing individualised plans and chairing meetings to ensure progress, collaborating with parents/carers and other professionals
  • Using a range of interventions to engage children, young people, and their families, ensuring their voices are heard
  • Supporting students on placement and newly qualified staff, with opportunities to undertake relevant training such as Practice Educators Course
Requirements:
  • Completed your ASYE
  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
