Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for a Senior Practitioner to join a Children with Disabilities Team based in Southwest London for an OUTSTANDING authority as rated by OFSTED.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Social Worker looking to step up into a more senior role. The role involves holding a small complex caseload and supporting Newly Qualified Social Workers.

In this role you will be:
  • Assessing the needs of children with disabilities and their families
  • Developing individualised plans and chairing meetings to ensure plans are on track, in partnership with parents/carers and other professionals
  • Using a range of interventions and skills to engage children, young people, and their families in working towards their care plan objectives, ensuring the voice of the child is heard
  • Supporting students on placement and newly qualified staff, with opportunities to complete relevant training such as the Practice Educators Course
Requirements of a CWD Senior Practitioner:
  • Completed your ASYE
  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
