It’s an exciting time to be joining Children Social Care in Warrington, as we have been chosen as a Pathfinder authority for the Families First for Children reforms.

We have a rare opportunity with in our Multi Agency Gateway team. This is a non case-holding role.

The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent senior practitioner to join our award winning MAG. We have a permanent vacancy for a full time senior practitioner to work as part of our multiagency gateway to children’s services. Our MAG consists of representatives from children’s social care, early help, health, CYPMHS, probation, Cheshire Without Abuse, Police and many more. Working in conjunction with our partners, decisions are made via screening in respect of the threshold of need and recommendations are made as to future support.

What's needed?

We are seeking a senior practitioner who has excellent verbal communication skills, is able to think creatively to problem solve, who has a good understanding of thresholds of need and who works well as part of a multi agency group of professionals.
