Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP)

Location: Doncaster & Surrounding areas

Shifts:

  • Days: 8am–8pm or 10am–10pm
  • Nights: 8pm–8am
About the Role

We are seeking experienced and autonomous Emergency Care Practitioners (ECPs) to join our dynamic team delivering high-quality urgent care across Doncaster. This role involves a mix of triage and face-to-face home visits, including visits to private residences and care homes.

You will either:

  • Triage and attend visits yourself, or
  • Work alongside another ECP, with one triaging and the other attending visits.

During day shifts, you will have access to a company car (prepared by the night shift driver). For night shifts, a dedicated driver will accompany you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct triage and clinical assessments.
  • Visit patients in their homes or care settings to provide urgent care.
  • Diagnose and treat a range of minor illnesses and injuries.
  • Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to care planning.
Essential Criteria
  • Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Allied Health Professional.
  • Advanced Practice qualification.
  • Experience in emergency/urgent care settings.
  • Independent Prescriber (or working towards).
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience in triage and home visiting.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Fully Adastra trained
