Job summary

Cambridgeshire County Council seeks an experienced Senior Practitioner in Child Protection to provide expert social work advice and leadership within the Family Help service. You will support Family Help Lead Practitioners, manage complex cases, and contribute to safeguarding decisions.

Countywide travel and flexibility are essential. The role emphasises expert guidance, induction of new staff, and participation in service development to improve outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Ability to work from multiple locations and travel countywide independently.
