Job summary

Cambridgeshire County Council's Targeted Support team seeks a Senior Practitioner to advise Family Help Lead Practitioners and support managers in determining levels of need. You will help develop the Families First model and travel across the county as required.

This Senior Practitioner post sits within the Targeted Support teams at Cambridgeshire County Council and supports the council's new Families First model. The work centres on giving specialist social work guidance to Family Help Lead Practitioners and helping managers judge levels of need and the right response. Postholders will not hold cases or manage staff, and they will travel across the county. Appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
