Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking a Senior Practitioner to lead on complex safeguarding work and support a team of social workers in the Children, Education & Families Service.

You will supervise high-risk cases, mentor colleagues and contribute to service improvement within a flexible hybrid model based in Cambridge. A recognised SW qualification and SW England registration are required.

Formación

• Recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, Master's, Postgraduate Diploma or approved fast-track programme).
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Extensive post-qualification experience within Children's Social Care.
• Experience in: Child Protection, Children in Need, Safeguarding, Court Work, Risk Assessment, Complex Case Management.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a highly complex caseload involving safeguarding, child protection, court proceedings and statutory intervention.
• Provide professional leadership and specialist advice on complex cases and risk management.
• Support and develop Social Workers and Child Practitioners through mentoring, coaching and practice education.
• Deputise for Team Manager when required.
