Xpert Recruitment Solutions Limited in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage a busy portfolio within an established practice. This permanent, hands-on role suits someone who enjoys producing accurate year-end accounts and tax returns.

You'll handle year-end accounts, corporation tax computations, VAT returns and Self Assessment, review work by juniors, and ensure deadlines are met with consistent quality. Independent work style and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Competenze

• Experience in an accountancy practice preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Good working knowledge of VAT, Self Assessment and corporation tax.
• A careful eye for detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies before they become problems.
• A steady, organised approach to managing deadlines and a varied workload.
• Confidence reviewing figures and checking work prepared by others.
• A helpful, approachable manner when supporting junior colleagues.
• The ability to get on with the job, work independently and deliver consistently good work.
