Job summary

TPF Recruitment are supporting a reputable chartered accountancy practice based in Paddock Wood with a Senior Practice Accountant role. You will focus on statutory accounts and corporate tax, with potential to handle some self assessment and management accounts work.

TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is supporting an excellent chartered accountancy practice based in Paddock Wood, who are looking for a Senior Practice Accountant to join their experienced team in a general practice capacity, primarily focused on statutory accounts and corporate tax returns, but there will be an opportunity to support with some self assessment tax work, and some more interesting management accounts work too, shoudl you wish. Our client is willing to build the position around the candidates experience and aspirations.

As a Senior Practice Accountant, you will report directly into the Manager and be responsible for a mixed client portfolio made up of small business owners through to multi million pound groups. You will be based in an amazing office in a rural location in Paddock Wood and also have the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours. You will be responsible for:

RequirementsSenior Practice Accountant Paddock Wood

You will be qualified, or studying ACA/ACCA, or qualified by experience with at least 3-5 years experience within practice.

You will have worked as a Semi Senior or Senior Accountant within a practice environment and have hands on experience of accounts, ideally management accounts, tax and VAT.
