Job Title: Senior Practice Accountant in Sandwich

TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is seeking a Senior Practice Accountant to join a reputable, chartered accountancy firm in Sandwich, Kent. Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Prepare client tax returns and advise on tax payable and payment deadlines.
• Handle bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, supplier management, and management accounts as required.
• Liaise proactively with clients to gather relevant information, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Monitor and maintain quality and quantity of work within agreed budgets, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
• Support and coach trainees on the job.
• Assist clients with accounts software and other queries.

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience with at least 3 years of practice experience.
• Proficient in IT, with knowledge of Iris, Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks being advantageous.
• Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.
• Open to both part-time and full-time applicants.
