A fast-growing digital travel business helps customers discover and book ferry journeys across more than 30 international markets. Its performance team is small, hands-on and focused on using data and testing to improve customer acquisition and grow the business.
The Opportunity
- Make an impact: Join as a Senior PPC Executive and take hands-on responsibility for optimising paid search activity across international markets.
- Work at scale: Support a business that has significantly increased its advertising investment and plans to invest around £9 million next year.
- Shape what comes next: Most activity is lower-funnel search, giving you the chance to deepen and improve campaigns while helping explore opportunities in newer markets.
- Test, learn and improve: Work in a nimble, data-led team where you’ll have room to test ideas and make a tangible contribution to performance.
- Prepare for peak: Help refine accounts outside the busy summer booking season so campaigns are ready when demand rises.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise paid search accounts hands-on, with a strong focus on lower-funnel search activity.
- Monitor campaign performance and refine bids, budgets and campaign settings to support business KPIs.
- Plan and run tests, review the results and use what you learn to improve campaign performance.
- Test and retest account activity throughout the year, preparing campaigns for the seasonal summer booking peak.
- Identify opportunities to grow market share in newer international markets, including by adapting activity to local market needs.
- Turn performance data into clear insights and recommendations that help inform decisions.
- Work closely with the Head of Performance Marketing and the wider team, including colleagues in SEO.
- Keep abreast of relevant paid search developments and contribute to exploring new approaches and tools where they can support the team’s work.
