STRABAG UK is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead the estimating function within our Power business, supporting tendering and delivery of power infrastructure projects across the UK.

Prepare detailed cost estimates, price tender submissions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure competitive, robust pricing for HV substations and T&D works. Strong analytical skills and NEC contract experience are essential.

Competenze

• Significant estimating/cost planning experience in power, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of HV substations, T&D works and electrical plant.
• Ability to prepare, review and challenge detailed cost estimates.
• Experience with NEC forms of contract and tender pricing implications.
• Proficiency in interpreting drawings, specs, and tender docs.
• Experience sourcing supplier/subcontractor quotations for competitive pricing.
• Excellent numerical/analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for power infra projects across the UK.
• Contribute estimating input to tender strategies, programmes and delivery methods.
• Review tender docs, drawings and specs to establish scope and risks.
• Price preliminaries and coordinate with planning for alignment with programmes.
