Job summary

Social Security Scotland is seeking a Senior Data Analyst (Report Developer) to design, develop and support Power BI reporting solutions across Scotland. You will lead the end-to-end development of Power BI dashboards and reports within the Data Services Team to enable informed decision-making.

You will work with complex data and promote governance, standards and self-service reporting, while guiding users and stakeholders in effective use of data and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in manipulating, linking and preparing data for analysis, reporting and visualization.
• Experience leading workshops with technical and non-technical staff.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective reporting and visualisations.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in designing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Translate reporting requirements into user-focused visualisations and reporting products.
• Lead data visualisation standards.
• Communicate data products and projects with stakeholders.
• Peer review data analysis and outputs.
