Job summary

Laravel is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own our PostgreSQL offering within the Laravel Cloud platform. You will deploy and optimize PostgreSQL on Kubernetes, build operators in Go, and shape our multi-account, multi-region cloud infra on AWS.

This is a fully remote role with international scope. You will collaborate with a global team to improve reliability, scalability and security, while advancing monitoring, CI/CD, and GitOps practices.

Qualifications

• Deep production PostgreSQL experience including performance tuning, replication, backups, HA and upgrades.
• Strong AWS or GCP experience designing and operating production cloud infrastructure.
• Kubernetes operator development and maintenance with Go.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage and optimize PostgreSQL clusters on Kubernetes, ensuring HA, backups and DR.
• Develop and maintain Kubernetes operators and controllers in Go.
• Design and operate high-availability cloud infrastructure on AWS across accounts/regions.
