Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Post Trade Technology Business Analyst to own functional delivery across Debt Trading, Equities Post Trade, and Markets Asset Servicing Technology. Lead a multi-year transformation, bridge business strategy and technology, and guide a team of BAs in a complex, multi-vendor environment.

You will define the functional vision, collaborate with business leaders and IT, and ensure delivery aligns to architecture and strategic outcomes in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in fixed income trading or settlements platforms.
• BA experience in fixed income products (securities/derivatives).
• Structured project environment experience in a PM-equivalent role.
• Expertise in business analysis methodologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with business and SMEs to define requirements aligned to architecture.
• Define and implement requirements artefacts: use cases, specs, diagrams, traceability, docs.
• Act as the business SME supporting development, testing and deployment phases.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and relationships with vendors and internal teams.
• Support UAT phases with asset class leads for defect remediation and testing environments.
