Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst contractor to join a major financial services organisation in London. The role sits in a highly regulated securities environment, bridging business and technology to translate complex requirements into actionable designs.

You will facilitate workshops, develop user stories and acceptance criteria, model processes with BPMN/UML, and support testing, UAT and deployment across the full delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an IT Business Analyst in financial services or FMI.
• Strong knowledge of securities, settlement, and post-trade processes.
• Experience with ISO 15022 and ISO 20022 messaging standards.
• Proven ability to elicit and manage complex requirements across business and technology.

Responsibilities

• Interface between business stakeholders and technology teams to translate requirements into clear tech solutions.
• Lead requirements workshops and produce user stories, acceptance criteria and use cases.
• Model processes using BPMN/UML and ensure traceability throughout design, development and testing.
• Support UAT, testing phases and deployment across the full delivery lifecycle.
