Job summary

St. James’s Place is recruiting a Portfolio Solutions Manager in London, hybrid, permanent, mid-senior level. You will originate, design and present bespoke investment solutions for high-net-worth individuals, charities, and endowments.

This front-office role drives AUM growth while deepening adviser and client relationships with clear, compelling narratives. You will contribute to scalable, differentiated portfolio propositions, engage in client pitches, and collaborate with advisers to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in client-facing or front-office investment roles.
• Track record in presenting investment proposals to advisers and clients.
• Experience with high-net-worth or charitable portfolios is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom investment proposals to support advisers in winning new mandates and retaining key HNW clients.
• Act as a trusted technical partner in client meetings and pitches.
• Translate complex investment concepts into clear, client-friendly narratives
• Construct and oversee multi-asset portfolios across various tax wrappers.
• Design innovative, tailored portfolios to diverse client objectives including income, growth and risk management.
• Identify opportunities to differentiate SJP’s proposition for charities and endowments.
