Job summary

The Oversight Board Administration in London seeks a driven policy professional to support decision-making on complex content governance issues. You will work with cross-functional teams to provide rapid, evidence-based analysis, briefing materials, and policy guidance for Meta’s platform governance.

This role emphasizes human rights-informed AI governance and collaboration across time zones to deliver impact-driven recommendations and decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree educated, preferably at a master’s level in a discipline relevant to content governance by social media and its impacts on societies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience explaining complex concepts to stakeholders.
• Experience with human rights law and content governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced policy expertise and support in developing decisions and policy positions.
• Draft briefing materials and engage external experts for the Board.
• Support drafting case decisions and policy advisory opinions.
• Develop AI governance principles including evaluations of large language models (LLMs).
• Coordinate with project managers to assist in deliberations and decisions.
