Job summary

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Podiatrist to lead specialist care for patients with complex high-risk feet, including diabetic wounds and vascular complications. The role requires autonomous practice within MDT teams across community and hospital settings, with duties in education, supervision and development of staff and students.

Based in London’s CNWL footprint, patient-centred care is core.

Qualifications

• Essential criteria include HCPC registration, podiatry degree and local anaesthesia certificate.
• Experience in managing high risk diabetic feet and wound care is preferred.
• Strong leadership and staff education abilities are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist footcare for patients with complex high-risk foot problems.
• Line manage and supervise community podiatrists with regular supervision.
• Support education of staff, students and apprentices.
• Work within multidisciplinary diabetes foot teams across community and secondary care.
• Accept emergency referrals from GPs and other health professionals.
