Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a podiatrist to provide expert clinical assessment and treatment for highly complex cases, supporting inpatient and outpatient services.

The role involves active participation in the Multidisciplinary Diabetic Footcare Team, developing clinical pathways and mentoring podiatry staff to ensure high-quality patient care across settings.

Qualifications

• Expert clinical practice in assessment and diagnosis of highly complex podiatric problems.
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient podiatry settings.
• Ability to mentor and supervise podiatrists and healthcare staff.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert clinical practice in assessment and diagnosis of highly complex podiatric problems and deliver individualized treatment.
• Work as an active member of the Multidisciplinary Diabetic Footcare Team (MDFT) to ensure continuity of service in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Support development, implementation and review of patient pathways, SOPs and clinical guidance for the outpatient podiatry service.
• Support development of podiatry staff through clinical rotations, mentoring and supervision.
• Support training of podiatrists and other health care practitioners on management of highly complex podiatric patients.
