Job summary

Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust (NHFT) invites an experienced podiatrist to join the Diabetic and High-Risk Podiatry service. You will work with the clinical lead and band 7 advanced podiatrists to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across the county, including mentoring the community podiatry team.

Applicants should aim to undertake non-medical prescribing and will receive ongoing mentorship and clinical supervision to support safe practice and leadership in a complex

Qualifications

• Experience in diabetic foot care and high-risk foot management.
• MDT working experience with strong communication.
• Mentorship and coaching to support community podiatry teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide high risk foot and wound care in the diabetic foot service.
• Lead, mentor and coach the community podiatry team.
• Collaborate with clinical lead and band 8a colleagues to meet KPIs and deliver high-quality patient care.
• Support safe prescribing through non-medical prescribing where applicable.
