NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Podiatrist to join a busy, forward-thinking team delivering first-class care across Redbridge and Waltham Forest. The role includes wound care for high-risk patients, diabetes foot management, and opportunities to develop specialist areas such as nail surgery and paediatric podiatry.

Driving is essential for home visits. Applicants should have HCPC registration and at least two years in NHS podiatry, with a commitment to patient-centred care

Qualifications

• Must be HCPC registered and currently practicing in NHS podiatry.
• Minimum 2 years NHS experience in podiatry prior to application.
• Ability to manage diabetic foot ulcers in clinical and home environments.

Responsabilités

• Deliver specialist wound care to high-risk patients in community and domiciliary settings.
• Provide expert podiatry treatment for complex cases in community settings.
• Create and follow evidence-based care plans to ensure high-quality treatment.
• Mentor and support colleagues, sharing knowledge and fostering team culture.
• Build strong relationships with GPs and other health professionals to ensure seamless care.
