Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic HCPC registered Band 6 Podiatrist to join the Community Podiatry Team covering the West Lancashire patch on a 9 month Fixed term basis. The role involves seeing patients in clinic and in their own homes, delivering assessment, treatment and ongoing management for a wide range of podiatric needs.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Band 6 Podiatrist.
• Post-registration experience in podiatry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined caseload and deliver care for complex podiatry needs.
• Assess, plan, implement and review treatments.
• Work autonomously and with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care.
• Maintain registration and participate in professional development and supervision.
• Support service improvement and clinical governance within the team.
