Job summary

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Clinical Podiatrist for 17 hours per week to support Hillingdon Community Services. The post involves community, domiciliary and clinic-based care, with opportunities for professional development and multidisciplinary collaboration.

You will assess and treat patients across at‑risk groups, focusing on diabetic and vascular foot care, with access to specialist colleagues and local hospital referrals.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Podiatric Medicine.
• Evidence of CPD Portfolio.
• HCPC Podiatrist Registration.
• Hold a Certificate in local anaesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan and evaluate podiatric care for a wide range of patients.
• Care for patients with diabetes at different risk categories and vascular issues.
• Develop individual care plans and provide footcare education.
• Carry out nail surgery and wound management as part of clinical duties.
• Work across community clinics, patient homes and hospital settings.
• Support student training and discipline cross-team collaboration.
