Job summary

DXC Technology in Hampshire is seeking a PMO Lead to establish and run the Project Management Office across IT Transition and subsequent IT Change programmes. You will design the governance, planning, reporting, risk, and financial tracking framework, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to contract standards.

This is a senior delivery role, not an admin post, requiring strong stakeholder engagement, mature governance, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Senior PMO delivery professional
• Proven governance, planning and reporting experience
• Experience with IT Transition, transformation, outsourcing or managed services
• Strong stakeholder and client-facing skills
• Experience with PMO tools (MS Project, Jira, Planview) and reporting
• Knowledge of PRINCE2, MSP, PMI/PMP or Agile frameworks

Responsibilities

• Establish and operate the PMO, including model, governance, processes and standards
• Develop and maintain the integrated programme plan and milestones
• Own RAID, risk and issue management and escalation
• Produce management information, dashboards and governance packs
• Manage programme financial reporting including budgets and forecasts
• Ensure quality assurance, stage gates and deliverable tracking
• Provide resource visibility and skills gap analysis across workstreams
• Support transition readiness assessments, cutover and go-live governance
• Develop PMO framework for IT Change pipeline and benefits realisation
• Ensure integration with ITIL/service management processes
• Drive continuous improvement and PMO maturity
