Job summary

Crucial People Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Manager for high-profile Smart Building programmes in London. You will lead major projects from pre-construction to handover, overseeing BMS, EMS and converged network elements, with direct involvement in commercial performance and client delivery.

The role demands senior leadership, strong technical coordination and excellent stakeholder engagement. You will coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, manage procurement and oversee subcontractors

Qualifications

• Experience delivering major construction projects.
• Strong commercial and financial management experience.
• Experience coordinating design development and technical coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale Smart Building projects from design through to completion.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and review technical designs.
• Manage project programmes, milestones and delivery plans.
• Oversee procurement, materials and resource planning.
• Direct labour and specialist subcontractors.
• Control project costs, forecasts and commercial performance.
• Manage variations, change control and contractual obligations.
• Attend and lead client, contractor and progress meetings.
• Monitor project risk and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure Health & Safety, quality and compliance standards.
