Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd is recruiting for a SNIJIB Technician Plumber or Advanced Plumber. The role covers diverse projects across Scotland, with potential for UK-wide and European work, requiring strong technical supervision and coordination across trades.

The successful candidate will read drawings, manage prerequisites, and ensure installations meet specifications, standards and regulatory requirements while mentoring apprentices and junior staff.

Qualifications

• Requires SVQ/NVQ Level 3 Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
• Appropriate SNIJIB grading/card for the role.
• Current CSCS/SNIJIB Health & Safety requirements.
• Demonstrable experience on commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise plumbing operatives, apprentices and subcontractors on site.
• Lead day-to-day plumbing activities and coordinate labour requirements.
• Allocate work to operatives in accordance with programme and priorities.
• Monitor productivity, workmanship and progress.
• Provide guidance and technical support to plumbers and apprentices.
• Liaise with Site Managers and Project Managers.
• Attend site coordination and progress meetings.
• Promote a positive safety and quality culture.
• Lead by example in site conduct and professionalism.
