Job summary

Vivo Talent Solutions is assisting a digital engineering company in Oxford to recruit a Lead Solutions Architect with hands-on PLM and 3DEXPERIENCE expertise. The role will lead architecture, data integration and digital transformation across a large-scale PLM environment.

The candidate will drive platform configuration, data migration and governance, collaborating with ERP, CAD (CATIA) and downstream systems while guiding internal teams and external partners through complex program milestones.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial experience with Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE and enterprise PLM platforms.
• Strong understanding of 3D CAD environments (CATIA) and how CAD, PLM and engineering data interact throughout the product lifecycle.
• Extensive knowledge of PLM architecture, configuration, data migration, lifecycle management, change control and BOM structures (EBOM/MBOM/BOP).
• Strong integration experience across enterprise systems with ERP/SAP, digital thread, interoperability and APIs/open standards.
• Experience with cloud/SaaS environments, cybersecurity, DevSecOps and service transition principles.
• Excellent stakeholder leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the solution architecture and delivery across a large-scale PLM/3DEXPERIENCE platform, aligning with business objectives.
• Own architectural decisions across platform configuration, integrations, data structures and migration for scalability and upgrade safety.
• Lead migration of engineering and product data from legacy systems into PLM, ensuring data quality and traceability.
• Govern the digital thread and integration strategy linking PLM with ERP, CAD and downstream enterprise platforms.
• Provide technical leadership to internal teams, partners and suppliers, ensuring governance and delivery standards.
• Shape the long-term PLM technology roadmap balancing project needs with digital transformation goals.
