Job summary

IBM Consulting UK is seeking an experienced architect to lead Digital Engineering and PLM solution design. Collaborate with clients and delivery teams to define needs, architect holistic solutions, and produce governance artifacts across large projects.

You will drive architectural options, interfaces, and strategic direction while building trusted client relationships and contributing to market eminence in the engineering domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in digital solutions within Product Engineering.
• Evidence-based architectural options, alternatives, rationales and evaluations.
• Strong client project background and network building.
• Ability to present architectural artifacts for governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, consultants and delivery teams to determine needs.
• Define and architect solutions for Digital Engineering needs, both business and technical.
• Create and maintain architectural artifacts through all project phases.
• Support Project Manager to meet governance approvals and delivery timescales.
• Provide leadership and technical direction at all levels in the team.
• Provide enterprise-level input to holistically map data and application landscape.
• Document architectural processes, procedures and standards.
• Identify integration, maintenance, upgrades and data migration needs.
