Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Senior Platform Product Manager to own two critical platform areas: the API gateway and the observability platform. You will define end-to-end strategy, roadmaps, and standards for metrics, logs, and dashboards, powering hundreds of millions of API requests per month.

Collaborate with engineering leaders across two teams to drive priorities, ensure delivery, and align on outcomes while balancing security, compliance, and client commitments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience owning cloud platform infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of API concepts: latency, rate limiting, response codes.
• Experience with Datadog or comparable observability tooling.
• Ability to set product vision & strategy and communicate to technical and executive audiences.
• Excellent prioritization in ambiguous, highly technical areas.
• Strong written communication: specs and strategy docs.

Responsibilities

• Set a clear product vision for both platform areas and translate it into multi-quarter roadmaps.
• Partner with engineering leaders across two teams to shape priorities and unblock delivery.
• Balance client commitments, commercial opportunity, technical health, and security/compliance needs.
• Define measurable outcomes to guide prioritization and success metrics.
• Write crisp requirements and strategy docs that scale across engineering and leadership.
• Maintain a healthy Jira backlog and communicate progress.
