Apex Fintech Solutions in Belfast is hiring a Senior Platform Product Manager to own two critical platform areas: the API gateway and our observability platform. You will own end-to-end strategy and roadmaps, shaping priorities across two engineering teams and balancing technical health, security, and client commitments.

You will translate vision into multi-quarter roadmaps, define measurable outcomes, and maintain a healthy Jira backlog while partnering with engineering to deliver across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience owning cloud platform infrastructure.
• Good understanding of API concepts — latency, rate limiting, and response codes.
• Experience with Datadog or comparable observability tooling.
• Ability to set product vision and strategy and communicate it to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent prioritization judgment in ambiguous, high-technical areas.
• Strong written communication: specs, strategy docs, and proposals.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end product strategy and roadmaps for API gateway and observability platform.
• Define core capabilities including traffic management, rate limiting, and logging.
• Write crisp requirements and strategy documents that scale across engineering and leadership.
• Maintain a healthy Jira backlog and drive cross-team prioritization.
• Partner with engineering leaders to shape priorities and unblock delivery.
