Wayve is building the leading AI platform for autonomous driving. We are seeking a Software Engineer for the Platform Integration team to bring up new vehicle programs, develop reusable frameworks, and ensure reliable robot software across multiple vehicle programs.

You’ll work on Linux-based robotic platforms, ROS2 middleware, and hardware-software integration, collaborating with hardware, safety, controls, calibration, and reliability teams.

Formación

• Strong software development experience in C++, Python, or Rust.
• Production-quality software on Linux-based robotic, embedded, or automotive platforms.
• Familiarity with ROS2 or similar robotics middleware and distributed-system integration.
• Hands-on experience integrating software with vehicle or embedded hardware.
• Ability to diagnose complex problems using logs, telemetry, on-target tests, and systematic experimentation.

Responsabilidades

• Support software bring-up on benches, HiL systems, and vehicles, including work at international test locations.
• Develop and maintain vehicle-facing software components and shared frameworks.
• Diagnose integration issues across software and hardware boundaries and drive them through resolution.
• Identify architectural improvements that reduce bespoke work and improve reuse.
• Build diagnostics, tooling, and metrics for robot-software reliability and performance.
• Produce clear documentation and runbooks for long-term supportability.
• Collaborate with hardware, safety, controls, calibration, and reliability teams.
