Job summary

Skyral in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior DevOps/SRE engineer to oversee Kubernetes-based platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and reliability across cloud and on-premise environments. You will implement GitOps workflows, monitor systems for resilience, and work with developers and operations teams to keep services running smoothly in a high-velocity setting.

The role is full-time and onsite in Warminster, Wiltshire, with a focus on robust, secure, and scalable deployments that support our mission

Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes-based platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong systems and infrastructure mindset.
• Ability to operate across cloud-native and legacy environments.
• Familiarity with network and security considerations in production.
• Experience in Go or Python development and shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure systems on MODCloud / D2S / OpenShift.
• Manage Kubernetes environments, networking and connectivity, and security-focused configurations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows for repeatable deployments.
• Monitor health, diagnose issues, and resolve deployment failures.
• Collaborate with integration engineers, customers and modeling engineers.
• Support and maintain existing simulation and training systems and virtualization tools.
