Job summary

Skyral Group is seeking a hands-on Engineering Lead to head a software development team in Warminster. The role requires onsite work and close collaboration with MOD content providers to deliver a fully integrated training system.

You will translate architecture into working systems, unblock cross-disciplinary teams, and ensure a composable, reusable solution set across modelling, integration, and platform usage.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a software development team across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers and be the primary technical contact for Warminster.
• Maintain technical accountability across concurrent projects to deliver a fully working training system.
• Support the development solution architectures and translate them into implementations.
• Make technical decisions across modelling, integration, and platform usage.
• Guide engineering work across disciplines to unblock challenges and ensure composability.
• Ensure solutions are designed to be reusable and comply with platform-first principles.
• Act as the final escalation point for on-site technical issues.
