Qualifications

• Experience building cloud-native platforms on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Proficient in Go for backend services and Kubernetes controllers.
• Experience with GitOps and automated delivery pipelines.
• Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Experience building self-service/internal developer platforms.
• Care about developer experience and reducing cognitive load through good abstractions.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams to drive platform adoption.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement platform capabilities using Kubernetes-native patterns.
• Drive the adoption of platform engineering principles with self-service workflows.
• Design and implement Kubernetes controllers/operators in Go to automate lifecycles.
• Mentor engineers and grow platform engineering practices.
• Collaborate across teams to align on interfaces and abstractions.
• Support hiring as the team expands and set code quality standards.
