Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking an infrastructure-focused engineer to join the Intelligence Platform Core team, shaping our platform vision and culture as we scale. You will contribute to platform capabilities using Kubernetes-native patterns and event-driven architectures, driving adoption of platform engineering principles and building reusable abstractions for internal users.

You will design and implement Kubernetes controllers/operators in Go to automate infrastructure and lifecycle

Qualifications

Experience building cloud-native platforms on AWS, GCP or Azure.
Proficient in Go for building backend services, CLIs, or Kubernetes controllers/operators.
Experience with GitOps and CI/CD systems.
Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

Collaborate on design and implementation of platform capabilities using Kubernetes-native patterns and event-driven architectures.
Drive the adoption of platform engineering principles, building reusable abstractions and self-service workflows for internal users.
Design and implement Kubernetes controllers/operators to automate infrastructure and lifecycle management.
Mentor engineers and contribute to platform engineering practices across Data & ML Platforms.
