Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to shape our Platform vision and culture as we grow. You’ll contribute to design and implementation with Kubernetes-native patterns and event-driven architectures, and build reusable abstractions for internal users.

You will work in the Intelligence Platform Core team, creating a scalable, reliable experience for data and ML workflows on cloud infra, while mentoring others and driving platform adoption across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience building cloud-native platforms on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and backend Go services.
• Proficient in GitOps and automated delivery pipelines.
• Ability to design scalable, resilient platform architectures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on design and implementation of platform capabilities.
• Drive platform engineering practices and self-service workflows.
• Design and implement Kubernetes controllers/operators in Go.
• Mentor engineers and raise quality standards across teams.
