Job summary

Casing the frontier of developer experience, Cozero seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to bridge application-level developer experience and data engineering. You will own the platform's devex, data platform infra, and AI/ML infra, writing code daily and lifting standards across the engineering group.

You will mentor squads, participate in on-call rotation, and shape data reliability as an engineering discipline while maintaining cost-efficient, scalable pipelines and observability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in a senior IC role owning developer platform or data platform work.
• Ship data quality automation with standards like Great Expectations or dbt tests, with measurable lineage and checks.
• Strong written communication; RFCs and technical docs preferred.
• Fluent in TypeScript/NestJS and Python; capable of ETL pipelines and data warehouse work.
• Experience with Snowflake, Postgres, and modern data tooling; Prisma ORM is a plus.
• Tackling repository scale, test infrastructure, and CI/CD at pace in a joint Platform/Data context.

Responsibilities

• Own Application & DevEx in the Platform group, defining how we build and ship.
• Lead data platform infrastructure: warehouse design, cost/performance tuning, and deployment for data workloads.
• Implement pipeline observability, data quality checks, and lineage across systems.
• Own on-call rotation and mentor across squads with fast, actionable reviews.
• Collaborate with DevOps to shape infra for AI/ML workloads and model serving.
