Job summary

Fnality is seeking a DevOps Engineer to lead cloud platform, DevOps, security, and network support for the Fnality Payment System in a fast-paced, regulated environment. You will audit existing tech, propose future-proofing, and drive AI-enabled practices to increase throughput and quality.

The role emphasizes proactive security, end-to-end delivery, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain resilient platforms in a highly regulated financial services sector.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud delivery
• Experience delivering secure, large-scale cloud projects
• Ability to integrate AI into DevOps/CI-CD practices with security in mind
• Experience in DevOps/Cloud/Platform senior or lead engineer roles
• Familiarity with Terraform and IaC
• Knowledge of AWS services and architecture concepts

Responsibilities

• Apply deep knowledge of Kubernetes and the application stack to production delivery
• Deploy and support scalable, resilient cloud platforms
• Maintain security and proactively remediate risks
• Collaborate across teams to maintain backlogs and deliver changes
• Work with Dev, QA, Cyber Security, and SRE to ensure reliability
• Enforce compliance standards and embedding controls in operations
• Own observability, monitoring, and incident management
• Review designs and provide practical input based on experience
