B4B Payments – A Banking Circle Group Company is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to advance our cloud platform and payments infrastructure in a London-based, hybrid setup. You will drive security, scalability and automation across production and non-production environments, and integrate AI tooling as a core part of daily engineering workflow.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Senior DevOps, Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering role.
• Deep expertise in public cloud infrastructure.
• Strong Kubernetes and containerisation experience.
• Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar.
• Experience designing and maintaining enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve cloud infrastructure across production and non-production environments.
• Integrate AI tooling into daily engineering workflows as a default way of working.
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code standards.
• Build and optimise scalable CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
• Drive platform reliability, observability and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers to deliver resilient solutions.
• Champion DevOps culture, automation and engineering best practices.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis and platform improvements.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting frameworks to support critical applications.
• Ensure infrastructure meets security, governance and compliance requirements.
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery and high-availability initiatives.
• Mentor engineers on cloud, automation and DevOps practices.
